In the next few days I will be discussing how to setup auto-blog and more important, how to create a successful auto-blog that provides you automated revenue. There are lots of ebooks and articles already available on this and I have read a good number of them. I will try to share my knowledge and experience in these posts. However, I won’t tell you about the success of my auto-blogs or their stats and I will be happy if you share your experience if you are already doing auto-blogs and also stats of your auto-blogs if you make any after reading my articles.

So You Want To Start Online Business?

To start your online business you need to contact some clients or buyers who will buy services or products from you. Whatever you do online, you need some e-mail address or email ID. No matter its free or paid, but this is a must. You can get your free email id from Yahoo.com, Hotmail.com, Gmail.com or any other free email provide.

I recommend having at least one email id from each of the above mentioned companies. All of those free email id providers offer you IM (instant messaging) service which is a must for your online business. Most of your clients or buyers will contact you directly using MSN chat or Yahoo chat. Also Gmail IM is getting popular these days so you can have that one also. Get three email id from them and install the Yahoo chat, MSN chat and Google Talk software. You can download these software free from their respective websites.

(I think most of you already have them but still i am including this step as many newbie readers or internet users may not know what these stuffs are)

So now you have your email id and messanger to contact your clients. Great!! Now you need to find them!!!

In the next step we are going to visit some Forums such as Webmasters Forum or Hosting Forums and sign up with them also. There are thousands of forums available of these types, but I am not going to talk about all of them. I am going to refer you to some of the most popular and active forums.

Digital Point (visit) – Digital Point is one of the most popular and most active forums around the internet. Almost all the webmasters visit DP once in a life. You will find a lot of useful information and jobs here. They have very nice buy/sell section where you can sell you websites or domains. Also you can sell you other products like ebooks, articles, graphic designs etc.  Now after signing up with them, you cannot start doing business or start selling stuffs there. You have to reach a certain level or post on threads before you can be trusted by other members and only then you can start doing business there. DP has a iTrader system and when you will buy or sell something you can exchange iTrader with the buyer or seller. These iTraders are very important. The more iTrader you have the more trusted you are by other members. Also your post count and other activites are also important. Now what you have to do is sign up there and start reading the threads. Specially check the buy/sell section and also the website review section. The more you will read here, the more knowledge you will gain and you should spend quite a good amount of time here at the starting of your business if you want to do good. You have to wait 2 weeks and your post count must be at least 25 before you can start selling stuffs at Buy/Sell section here.

NamePros (visit) – NamePros is another great forum for webmasters but its mostly related to domain business. So those who want have interest in the domain business should spend some time here. Join and start reading the threads. Also try to post and discuss your thoughts and feelings with other members.

dnScoop (visit) – dnScoop is a fairly new forum but reached good number of members and posts very quick. They also have business or buy/sell section for webmasters.

DDBOARD (visit) – DDBOARD is also a very interesting forum and you will love the poeple there. They have discussions on different stuffs related to website, domain and web business. Also they have a nice point system integrated and you will get point by posting or replying other threads. These points are very useful and I am not going to explain it here. You have to join and explore the whole thing (hints: read the FAQ page).

Always remember, the more you read the more you will learn. As you are new to online business and you cannot start making money right at this moment, so spend some time with those who are already in this business. And you will only get the change by joining these forums and discussing with the members.

There are many other webmaster forums available around the internet. Just go to www.google.com and put “webmaster forum” or “hosting forum” and hit enter, check the results. Join the forums you like but make sure they are active and have good number of members. Forums are very useful and you will soon explore why i always recommend joining them. Join as many as you can (not more than 10-12) and visit everyday, read the latest posts and replies, post your comments and just be active with other members. You will get the latest news and topics on online business in these forums and that is the most important information you need to be successful with your online buisness.

So after visiting the DP or Namepros Buy/Sell section, you should have already got an idea of where you can get your clients. As you have seen in these forums, people are selling websites, domains, hosting, ebooks, articles and other services too. These forums are helping both buyers and sellers to contact each other and complete the busienss.

Now you know how to contact your clients or buyer and where to find them. The next question is what to sell? and how to get payment? In the next part I will show you how to get payment and related information and then we will really start working online and prepare for real world business.
